Walnut investment

I saw the post below about the walnut lumber. It reminded of what some old men told me years ago. I didn't listen but wish I did. The advive was about what makes good investments. Said if ya got a few acres plant it in walnut, black walnut I think he said. If ya plant it when you are young, when ya get ready to retire it will be ready too. More secure than stock markets. It should work for Cherry or any dark hardwood.

Walnut is used for gunstocks ,It is in high demand even though "English" walnut, Or some foreign spieces is more in demand,,I think the old advisor was correct.You missed your opprotunity Ron.I'm missing some log sawing myself..Good night you nice folks.I learned a great deal today.
