Looking over the past few days I've seen a lot of new names and a few of the "old names" back again after what seems like a long time gone. I'm glad to see that!

Just wondering, who is with us regularly on this site--even if you normally just read and don't post it might be interesting if you'd at least post your name so's we can see who is here regularly.

Hi Tom
Been comming here since Mark H started his barn
and was posting pictures of it . Try to read it at least every day or you get lost on what's going on . some times do anyway Like, what are they talking about .? Who said what to get that going? Seen once long time ago where they had a map and you could put your location on it .
Does anyone remember that and do it?
Al

I read the posts mostly, but I've been learning more skills slowly, so have started asking some (two, I think) questions.

I usually check by here at least once a day, twice when I have time. Depends on what all I need to do and how much time I have to do it as to whether I post.
Right now, I've done all I can do outside with the heat index for today at 105 - 110. I've got fresh green beans cooking on the stove and figure I've earned a break to cool off before cooking the rest of our supper.
If I'm not too tired after supper, I'll stop back by to see what all is going on in here. :)

I usually read this board almost every day and feel like I "know" some of you. There usually is something interesting going on here. I post when I think I have something to contribute and hope I can help somebody out once in awhile.

Glad this board is here and hope it continues!

I check out this site almost everyday. I always check out the Ferguson and Oliver forums here, as I have a Fergie and an Oliver, then I check out implement alley, this forum, and anything having to do with farming. I post on and off, but I've been checking out this site for years.

which Oliver?    Posted 06-23-2003 at 13:19:09       [Reply]  [No Email]
Just wanted to know- Thanks Mike D.

RichZ    Posted 06-24-2003 at 05:44:25       [Reply]  [Send Email]
I've got an Oliver 1550 with a factory loader. Great tractor!!! Why do you ask?

Mike D.    Posted 06-24-2003 at 10:22:48       [Reply]  [No Email]
Just curious. You have the right color green! We have an 1850 with that sweet Perkins 6 in it.

RichZ    Posted 06-24-2003 at 10:29:18       [Reply]  [Send Email]
Great!!!

In my opinion, Olivers were one of the best tractors ever made. Nowadays, you get some of the most bang for the buck by buying Olivers!!

My 1550 never fails me!!!

If you haven't already, check out the Oliver forum here!

I try to catch up on the news every few days. I have been a Miniature Horse breeder for 18 years, with 55 horses to tend to at present. Minis do have their share of foaling problems, so sometimes, especially in our foaling season, I go for days without turning on the pc, just depending on what "the disasters of the week" may be. It's been an especially bad season, lost 3 foals--2 due to being early, and one a difficult hiplock. Also, lost a mare due to West Nile Virus last week. Feels like someone has put a curse over the farm this year! Would like to see about getting it lifted! Anyway, I sincerely enjoy reading about the lives of other country folks! It's amazing how much we can learn just by checking out the forum when we can. Many thanks for the great site, and the fine folks who take the time to hang out here!

Been away for awhile (due to the blues from marital ups and downs). Anyway, starting to
feel better and getting back to enjoying some things I used to enjoy.
(Advice from folks on this board sent me in
the right direction. God/HP does work through people! Where else does good ol' common sense
come from, but Country folk!)

Good Lord    Posted 06-23-2003 at 08:34:27       [Reply]  [No Email]
Mostly a reader, occasionally a poster!
Have a great day.
Paul.

As you can see, I have a very clever moniker. I used my real name, fooling you into thinking it is a made up name, and thus keeping a completely secure profile on this board. I just MIGHT, in real life, spell my last name "Hanson", but you'll never be quite sure...heh heh heh.
I read practically every week day, and post occasionally, and enjoy everyone's posts, from flowers to Power wagons.

Red Dave    Posted 06-23-2003 at 07:55:50       [Reply]  [No Email]
I'm here, usually a lurker, occasional poster.

Stretch    Posted 06-23-2003 at 07:46:43       [Reply]  [No Email]
Read it every day, usually a couple of times. Only post when I think I can add something worthwhile...

That last part doesn't stop me (see above).

I first saw this site a year or so ago.
My pal Clod found it and brought me here.
We just looked around a little.
I think Clod posted, he probably did. :-)
Then we went back to another board.
Clod was looking for a tractor pic one day and up popped our buddy Vic.
Vic and his tractor were on here.
So that reminded us of this site and we decided to come back and check it out.

Take care all,
Michelle H.

Hello again Tom,

I get to look in on this site while checking out old tractor stuff on the Yt site next door.

We sort of farm 100 acres in Va. We have 2 small boys. I do carpentry work and general contracting. My wife works in D.C. for the health insurance coverage.

Cindi    Posted 06-23-2003 at 06:02:44       [Reply]  [No Email]
Hi Tom. I'm in and out. It depends a lot on the flow of the posts and what is being discussed. I pop in usually a couple of times a day and I always post my name.
