DW - Good question. I was born in NYC; moved to suburban NJ when I was a child. Went to college at Colorado St. Univ and Univ. of Wyo. (Summer School) before completing college in Boston; then graduate school in NYC (graduate degree in psychology from Columbia), followed by 13 years on non-commercial radio (WKCR-FM & WBAI - NYC). Employment as a sales consultant and psychotherapist. My family lives in NYC area. I've lived in various states; NY,NJ, MA, LA, CO, and WY. I've ridden on a few cattle drives in TX and WY; own an A-fork saddle, and am an excellent rider (by Eastern standards). On my radio show I'm known for my "dry" wit. Hope some of it rubs off on this board. I love this board; lots of interesting folks and posts. Hope this answers your question.

Hey Joe - the odds of me picking up your radio show here in NC are what, slim to none? sob sob

DW - Your chances are as slim as a Slim Jim, unless they let me on the air sometime soon; and by then I'll have a direct link to the feed posted on my home page. There's a notice on my home page for folks to write to station management requesting more air time for the show. Maybe a letter or two might help.

Manhatten?
Does that mean you are a displaced cowboy?
or a wanna be cowboy?

is there a link to a map that has the different places all the regular posters here live?

Denise - I'm both displaced & a wanabe. Unless folks post their location in their messages, I don't think there's a listing. Maybe we ought to get one together???

Denise, I started a thread like that a while back, but it's been a while. We could start another, and I'd also like an update on everybody's age. I'll get it going again.
