i recently moved into an older home..has many cracks and crevaces...seems there are soo many spiders !!! (which i hate)
does anyone have a repellant(sp) or know of something i can use to keep these boogers away (until we get around to finishing our home.)
would greatly appreciate it.

Well, if you see any dirt daubers, or wasps around, try to stay out of their way, and don't kill them. They kill spiders by the tons, and stuff them in their 'houses' for their young to feed on when they hatch. If you find an old wasp or dirt dauber's nest break it open (make sure they've moved out first!) and you should find lots of spider remains in there.

I am a stomper once they are in the house, if the house has been vacant how about using a few bug bombs? Not a big fan of pesticides and chemicals myself tho so it will be very interesting to see what everybody has to say.
