This is really kinds gross but there's a lot of wisdom here so here goes. Last night I was watching tv in bed, hubby sleeping beside me. He turned over and flipped his pillow, and when he did, I SAW something fly out of the pillow and it went in my eye. I kind of rubbed it a bit and then finally went to sleep. This morning I woke up and the eye was glued shut. I literally had to wash my face and put in eye drops to get my eye to function. I get stuff in my eyes all the time but have never had this happen. What the heck could it have been to cause such a reaction? It's a lot better now, but still sensitive.

Howdy, Crusty.

Sounds like something that you're allergic to. Is it a feather pillow? Could have been part of a feather or even bird dander (sorry, yuk) that could easily be in the pillow with the feathers. Most people who think they're allergic to fur or feathers are actually allergic to dander.

This one's easy Cindi, it's one of those toenail greeps that hide under your nails. A few days ago, he resided in a mud puddle but somebody rooster-tailed him against a fender and he got tracked in. He tried living in the shoe, but since there was only one pair in the house, he kept getting stepped on & disturbed. So the poor little fella migrated to a nice cushy pillow and nicely got dozed off when a local gas-buyer came by, smacked the pillow and he flew into her eye. What you need now is one of those steam roller pills that go downhill. :)
Glad to help. Bwahahahaha

I dont know,,But I know if you break a line with freon in it and it gets in your eye .You may go blind.I just happened to be working on an AC and remembered this info.If the freon escapes and hits the atmosphere you will go to jail.

dead carp.....I don't know if that's what happened or not, but you convinced me! Very entertaining! Lol!

Clod....I know that...boy do I now that. Our last A/C system didn't just quit, it blew up. I happened to be standing nearby and the a/c guy ran screaming around my yard hollering...did it get on me? Did it get on me? I said, how the hel* should I know? Did it get on you? Did what get on you? I thought I was going to have to hose him down.

Scared the poopy out of him. Then he told me about the dangers of freon and so forth, and other little nasty demons inside the a/c.
