I am taking a week of my vacation time, starting tonite. And we are going to go up to Michigan for a few days. We started out planning on going to Gulf Shores or Pensacola and we decided to go north instead. Going to spend some time on the Lake Michigan beach in the Ludington area and do a little antique shopping to and from there.

A couple of weeks ago I asked on the board what you guys thought of Pensacola or Gulf Shores. And I appreciated the responces.

Anybody have any thoughts or experience with this part of Michigan?

Be sure to stick your toes in some sand, and see
if there's any lighthouses in the area.

Here's an idea Go up to Manitowoc Wi and take the car ferry across to ludington.
I don't know tomuch about Ludington but I know of one antique mall It's Always Antique mall at
2144 Johnson rd
Now alittle north of Ludington July 2-6 Is the Manistee festival July 3-6 Cedar polka fest
July 5-12 Traverse city cherry fest .
July 15-19 Alpine fest at Gaylord . Several antique places around those towns .Lots of golf
Wine tasting . Sand dunes at Empire , Gambling
all over , Interlochen Music camp
Then of course in Aug from the 14-17th is the Buckley old engine and thresher show .
All of these events draw thousands of people
Lots to see and do here in north west lower Michigan
