our tractor club is thinking of a new idea in scholarship for high school juniors and sophmors a hands on scholarship we will pay a farm equiptment dealer half the salary for a student for 10 weeks during the summer.we feel the student gains first hand expierence, the dealer gets to train a mechanic at a reasonal price and the money stays in the county also we get a little pr what do tou think yes or nay

Yes! YES! Yes! We have an ag booster club who
has a scholarship of $500. It goes to those in
FFA or Ag classes. It is about the only chance
these boys and girls kids get "hands on" experiences, also--is from that booster club.
Seems like for the kids to learn any mechanics,
they have to go to vocational school. That's usually for cars(?).

Great potential with this plan. I sure hope that you can get the bugs worked out, and the idea working. Nothing but upside as I see it. Good luck to you and all your friends in pulling it off.

If you can get a dealer to buy off on the idea, I think it's an EXCELLENT plan.

In fact, where do I apply? You give veteran's preference? Old, bald fat guy preference? ":^)

I think it is too, where else would a kid get that kind of deal. You guys may have something that could catch on.
