Steve's old 1938 Farmall

big fred - I got one of them, too!    Posted 08-14-2001 at 20:53:59       [Reply]  [No Email]

Mine don't have people on it, though, and it's headed the other way. Mine's a '41 Farmall B. It's had a color change since this picture. And F14 is right, they started producing the B in 1939.

Thanks. Steve is already gone to work, and said he has to work late tonight, but I'll make sure he sees the picture. Like he said, he's an ex-city boy and doesn't know a whole lot about them. When he bought his, we were in desperate need of one and it was the only one we could afford. It would be nice if he could eventually fix it up a little..

F14...Neat!    Posted 08-14-2001 at 18:38:09       [Reply]  [No Email]
Looks like a B, or maybe a BN. Not to pick nits, but it has to be at least a '39, they didn't have styled sheetmetal before that.

The man I bought it from told me it was a 38, but I'm an ex city boy so I didn't know. Thanks for the info. She needs so work, but I've found that living in the country requires lots of work. Seems like all I do is work. Work at Home, Work at Work.

You got that right Steve it is a lot of work, especially if ya got a regular job to go to. But it is good work, a lot more satisfying than taking the dog for a walk in the city park, or mowing the city lawn or watchin the city T.V. or whatever else they do in town. My opinion anyway.

Careful. Make comments like that and people might start accusing you of being a Democrat!

I shore do hope not Tom. I've worked so hard that would be a shame.
