We have 2 young ducks, colored black and white with a flat broad tails. Both have what I would call a hump back. Does anyone know what breed of ducks these are? Thanks

I think flat tails,....    Posted 07-07-2003 at 07:33:13       [Reply]  [No Email]
usually indicates hens rather than drakes. At least on pekins, the tail curls if it's a drake. Cindi

Thanks, all. I've been to these sites. These ducks have a tail about 3 in. wide at the tip. Black and white, low necked, and shoulders high. Broad flat tail. Help!!

We'd had 3 white ducks and lost 2 of them. We got these 2 new ones for company for the one that was left. He,she became their chaperone shortly. I've never seen ducks like these before. Just curious about their breed. Later.
