I know some of you work very hard (exercise), but I should share this.
A few years ago I had 180 over 120 blood pressure. I was fat at 230lbs & never got more than 6 hours sleep. Doctor precribed a dose of 125 milligrams per day of Verapamil. This kept the blood pressure around 135 over 85 while sitting.
This year I have lost 40lbs and got lots of excersize building a pole barn & other items. One night, the blood pressure was only 90 over 50 while watching TV. I stayed up all night on 'that one' letting my system flush the Verapamil out.
Without meds, I now have mabby 110 over 70 while sitting & 120 over 80 while mildly working.
Lose the fat & get exercise as it worked for me!
