I'll take the post below (Rainy Day backup) as a NO. Most or all do not have any rainy day plans. Tnx for interesting replies.

No rainy day plans. For me I guess if I thought about what could be I wouldn't be getting all I could out of today. Really impressive some of you though with all the reserves.

We dont have a lot of storage space. But in the event of neccesity we have platny of fish to catch and game to shoot. Got a swimming pool full of water for emergencies, hosses for transportation if theres no gas, etc. The only thing that will kill us is runnin out of soda pop which would devastate my kids lol

I do what I can to prepare for problems. Then I put my trust in God. I pray about the things that are out of my control. :-)

Psalm 121:1-8
A song of ascents.

I lift up my eyes to the hills-
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD ,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip-
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD watches over you-
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The LORD will keep you from all harm-
he will watch over your life;
the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

Jim; I do have about a years supply of food, back up generator, my own well, 6,000 gals of stored water for fire use, 2-125 gpm fire pumps with lots of hose and nozzles, lots of guns and bullets to play with, garden, tractor, 15 head of cattle along with about 100 chickens, 2 year supply of fire wood, lots of tools to fix things with ect. But it is hard to prepare for the unknown or worry about what you can't do nothing about. These are things everybody should have our ansesters did but then they did not have a 7-11 on every corner too. Mark H.

I have a non electric can opener.
A couple of jugs of water,
some canned foods.
A two burner propane camp stove with extra bottles.
I keep batteries and a battery operated radio on hand.
I have these so if the power goes out here due to Hurricanes since I live in the Texas gulf coast area.
These are just normal preparedness in this area.
