There are all kinds of powerful persons in the world today and history tells of kings, dictators ,wisemen and popular persons who had many followers.Today we have powerful judges who can throw you in jail if you are just there to observe a court session and forget to remove your cap. There are people in this world who can have you beheaded just because they are having a dull day. There are movie stars that have bodyguards with submachineguns. Then there is the super rich who are not likely to run in the same circles as the average working folks nor ever even be seen by average folks. We are nothing to some powerful and influential persons. You will not likely get near those who are far above average or in posession of something we dont have. But the lowly bug ,such as a flie dont care for rank ,fame nor power.A horsefly would bite the first human it came across. It does not care who or what you are.A bug would bite King Louie 14 as quick as he would a street bum. So the next time you see a lowly bug buzzing around you..Dont think that you have been singled out by the hand of fate to deal with misfortune alone. We are all equals in the eyes of a small bug. This may be the result of the bugs lack of understanding the human pecking order. But I admire that in the bug.

BobNY.most present powers arrived at their postions by challenge to the former powers. There were authorities and experts recognized by the leading scholars who through stupidity tried to hold up both Rudolf Diesel and George Westinghouse in their efforts to introduce new ideas that improved machinery.Vanderbuilts great engineers had him convinced Westinghouse was crazy. He asked Westinghouse just how he proposed to stop a train.Westinghouse said with air. Vanderbuilt showed him the door.Todays authorities are sometimes tomarrows idiots.

Don't kill bugs, eh?

Someday...Someone may think you are a bug and kill you...

So...

Don't kill bugs...

It ain't what happens,it's how we handle what happens.

I have very little respect for athority, even less if someone in athority demands it. One thing I have observed over the years about the rich and famous, the head and shoulders above the common people, the powerfull influential types, and the plane better than you snobs, is that when they are desending a flite of stairs and miss a step, they end up at the bottom just the same as commom folks. And it costs them more to replace torn or soiled clothes. And I would rather be bitten by the horse fly after it bit a horse, than after it bit a horses @%%.

I respect authority almost as much as authority respects me. PS Compliance with authority is not to be construed as respect.
