Jake found two ends of a five dollar bill laying in the yard at the hunt club. It had been rained on, sun bleached, run over with the lawnmower, stuck in his pocket and consequently washed and dried. All that was missing was about an inch from the middle. That US currency is some hardy stuff.

I found the pieces in the dryer after it was washed and inquired as to who it belonged to. He claimed it. I wasn't fixin' to give up the special information I had without getting something in return so I told him, take the trash down to the end of the road for me and I'll give you a nice surprise.

He did. When he got back I took him to the bank and took him inside where we traded the useless five dollar bill for a brand new spendable one.

You'd of thought it was a million dollars. He immediatley put a fishing pole on layaway with it. Cool.
