With Lee busy finishing electrical I decided to mow - course I had to call Lee to get the mower out cause I wouldn't cross this guys path!

and this big guy (about the size of a baseball) was starring me down on the path.
and here is today's pic of the bird nest we had to relocate - all 3 eggs have hatched and they are growing fast!!!

Nice frog and birds. As for the spider....RUN, don't walk, to the nearest indoor place!!!

Geeze, no kidding, it was uuuuulgy.
I wouldn't even go in the shed after I swirled the web away with a stick. Then he moved...
I squealed so loud the dogs started barking and lee ran cause he thought I was hurt or something.

Between all them critters, you shouldn't have to worry too much about bugs. Flies should be an endangered species there.

nope, you are right, not to many flies, mosquitos, or other tiny night fliers.
BTW - last critter of the day was relocated to the side of the pond - a bright orange spotty newt.

Not sure WHAT this thing is that ran in front of my camera tonite, but it sure can jog -- i didn't wait to see what was behind it! lol
