Last night, a girl was trying to be lured or
abducted--never heard of one like this before, but by 2 women in a silver station wagon with a 9 yr. old boy in the back seat w/them.
This is the 2nd attempt on a child in our town
in the last 3 years. It's getting pretty sad. :{

makes ya wonder where they got the 9 year old. I remember growing up, we leave the house in the summertime mornings and never give that stuff a thought. I want to know where our 10 tear old is every minute now.

Did you ever see the movie..'I know my name is Steven'?

What a horrible movie that was, based on the true story of a boy that was abducted at age six and was not reunited with his family until he was seventeen, by then they did not know him nor they him and he was so different from the other kids in the family that he had no hope of fitting in. Awful.

Are you sure it was an attempted abduction? When I was nine and even younger people would stop and offer me a ride to town or home. If I got in ,They let me out at the place I said I was going.They were just being nice and that was normal for the times.

It's not normal anymore. Nothing is safe anymore. Folks have been teaching their kids for twenty years to NEVER EVER get in a vehicle with a stranger. Two young women with a child in the car would know better than to offer a ride to an unknown child

Jeez..u just wish sometimes you could round up all these creeps and BRAND them..I remember being very young living in Mass and my friend was abducted ..raped ..and murdered..she came from a very large family..dirtpoor like us but always loving and happy..was 12 but she looked about 14 because of her height..the man who did this was a friend of the family..I don't think any of us ever recovered from the tragedy..I wish this would just stop...
