The poor folks of Texas legislature makes less than the minimum wage. The govenor of Texas makes no more than small town school superintendents.I just wonder why the small schools pay that much?

I'd work for that money if health insurance was included, heck yes! When we went overseas years ago, they didn't look to pay much on paper but we were reimbursed for ALL living expenses on both sides - (rental car, living quarters, travel expenses, dining out, tickets to anything in reach, storage, money lost on home life items, even income tax) i don't know of any couple who saved under $100,000/year. In the Middle East, you go to pick up a rental Mercedes and they hand you the keys and a mitful of cash, like reverse tipping. And NOBODY reports that even now! Getting the money home was kinda tricky though. Switzerland and the Cayman Islands helped. And i guess overlooking the protestors who kept burning our flags hasta be worth something. Boy don't let me catch anybody doing that again!
