Nice Hyperion, Fawteen

I think Hyperion and the Glories of which we have so many are very similar looking, maybe the Hyps. are as good to eat. I think the big difference between the two is that Glories spread in a round clump that gets bigger and thicker while Hyperions spread more out in a line. Makes them a lot easier to split and move around.
Our daylilies are pretty much over, just an odd late one every now and then, but some of the other stuff is really showing out.

How tall does that get? I'm looking for something fairly short to put in the front of a bed, say 12" or so.

It's a perenial around here. Maybe a foot and a half tall, twice that wide, kinda sprawls. It'll make a thick clump that can divide every coupl of years, if it's happy.
