A skunk sprayed the house on the front porch, right by the front door. I guess the dog scared it. Dog didn't get sprayed, that's good.

This is on vinyl siding. We tried bleach and we tried vinegar. Still stinks and there are little brown spots.

Anybody know what will take this off? By the way, the skunk showed up the next nite, but the 22 took away his desire to leave his sent.

Please help

Get yourself some "Skunk Off". It's available through most pet suppliers. My dog was sprayed just a couple of weeks ago, and this stuff worked great on him. Gave him that ...New car smell.

Tomato juice works well. If that don't do the trick add vodka to the tomato juice and set on the back porch while drinking it. In just a few months you will never know that stinkin skunk was there. Thank God for 22s.

Thanks Vic and Cowgirl. I will check at wal-mart for the skunk off. Nearest pet supply is about 50 miles away. Before I do that I will try ajax and maybe more bleach. The tomatoe juice sounds good. I like to drink it. Don't know about the vodka though. I haven't had a drink in over 16 years. Although the way the last 2 weeks have gone, it is mighty tempting.
