Time for a new phone company

Been with MCI for a while. Just about had enough with them. I know there's tons of choices. I think I liked it better when there was only one phone company.
Dare I ask for suggestions? I kind of like the idea of those that contributes part of what you pay them to a cause of your choosing.

Was with General Telephone for local service for years - they became Verison. Never liked their service, but had no choice. Got a call from AT&T, and they offered a great introductory rate. that lasted about a year, and they were charging right up there with the rest. Now, I use a phone card from Sam's Club 3.6 cents a minute. when it runs low, I can recharge it on my credit card. Yeah, I know, but all those numbers to dial??? First two mwmory dialer buttons are programmed with the 800 number, and my card number. Easy! Neat thing is that people's caller ID doesn't pick up my number, only the calling card company's bank of numbers!

Bout tried em all Les but have gone to IDT and they have been the best by a long shot so far. They send you a seperate bill rather than letting the other company do it. At least you can call and talk to a real person and not have to wait all day holding.

Well i have to say they all get you one way or the other. I am constantly changing my plan. Currently I have a pretty good plan with AT&T. I will be up in Oregon next week and I will change the plan with AT&T when I cross the state line. They all are good for a while but you have to keep changing to continue good rates. I make an effort doing this due to I am always on my Cell phone.

We tried one of those 10-10 companies. It was good for a while, but then we noticed extra charges on the bill every month for "connection charges" and other nonsense. Because their billing cycle was not consistent with Verizon's, we could get two monthly charges for the same month's calls.
My wife called Verizon andgot a plan through them. Having it all on one bill eliminates the extra charges and cuts down on the taxes.
Look at your bill and see how much you pay in taxes. Especially if you have more than one company billing you.

That's a thought.
Hey Brian, how come you didn't make my tractor show?

Family stuff. Maybe by next year I may have one re-painted and may actually own a trailer so I can bring something.

I got sucked into switiching to AT&T, and basically found out I had been lied to by the salesperson.

When I got my bill and challenged the company on some key issues I got..."who told you that, that is not our policy"

When I told them that I had been solicited by phone they said, oh well....there you go...the people who called you are sales subcontractors for our company, they don't work for us.

Scuse me? Okay then whose repsonsible?
