The first thing that comes to mind for me is the idiot media...Lets just tell the terrorist how to shut down main power sources for populated areas such as New York, Chicago, etc...

We really should be pityin those damfool ijjits that live in the stinkin cities. They are so bloomin helpless it ain't funny.

lots of us fools made our living in the city , otherwise we couldn't afford to live out in the country like we do

LOL I am with you. I do pitty them. They are helpless. Not a damn thing they can do.. Atleast we have our own well water, septic, food. What more can you ask for.

I am definitely not a fan of Hank Williams, Jr., but one of his songs always hit real close to home with me and that was
"A Country Boy Can Survive".
Listen close the next time you hear it if you haven't already.

To really make it work Les, you gotta be able to build them shotguns, riffles, 4 wheeldrives and all the fixins that go with them. Some can and some can't.
Later Bob

I love Hank Williams Jr. and I love that song. Living off the land is something we do and Love. BTW I don't make my money in the City I make it in the country. :) In this area for a price of a city house you can have an entire ranch not far away. LOL Still can't understand why anybody that would want to live in the city?

I think ret's comment was directed at me. Obviously I don't think everybody who ever lived or worked in a city is a ijjit but I stand by the comment that they are as helpless as sheep to deal with anything out of the ordinary.
As far as Hank Jr. goes, outside of that song, I don't have much use for him. He wouldn't make a pimple on his daddy's rump musically. And he is part of what's wrong with "country" music these days, IMHO. I think a good word for it might be "hedonistic".

you are right, you are lumping us all in one pot. But, we sure see eye to eye on Hank williams jr. If it wasn't for his name I don't think he would have made it. He is not country to me.

if it is the mohawk power co. then they would have to deal with the mohawk indians opps natives and no right thinking terrorist would want to get mixed up in that lol.

Terrorists know where the grid is located, however it is patrolled as well as all large power plants. I second on the 'citidiot' statement.

Another issue of the safety of living in the country. Most country areas out of the main stream do have local power generation plants. Not that I'm saying 'told you so', but we have power in my MI area. We are far from Detroit.

By the way, the southeast has more power than anywhere in the US.

Hi Jimbob, They may have more power, and
they also waste a lot of power...so is it
any wonder many there are whining?

I agree that the media is running at the
mouth on locations scedules etc which do
give info to the powers that would attempt
to distroy us.

Also for all the networks to drop the regular
programing and mess up the rest of the USA who
usually have special programs to watch it was
a bummer.

This appears to happen with every crisis, or
War, or what ever..they deam it okay to usurp
the program schedule for.

Just one of my beefs... hehe
