Dry up a ewe

i have 5 month old lamb im going to butcher ,he is still nursing, will the ewe just dry up on her own? thanks for any info .

They been doing it on their own for longer than history has been recorded.
She'll get over that quicker than she'll get over her broken heart.

Don't worry about it. As the previous post says, it is nature, a day and the ewe will forget she ever had a lamb.
