We haven't had any rain here to amount anything for the past two months, either (rural Wisconsin; about 100 miles east of the Twin Cities). Everything is burning up. Our little five acre hayfield only produced about a quarter of the hay for first crop that it normally produces. We won't get any second crop at all.

Must have been blowing South! We had the whole Valley and Hill full of smoke a while ago and there was no new fires close by. Could only see a little over 1 mile. Mark H.

you should see it here , some days can,t see your neighbours place quarter mile away or the mountain sides a half mile away, fires everywhere , can,t keep track anymore , the ones threating towns or homes make the news , but there is others just as bad, but in smaller locations or in the back country a bit.

The fire get real old if they can't get them out. It tests you in a bad way. I sure wish they could get a handle on them so you guys could get some peace around there! I kow what you are going thru. There will be a lot of messed up people for a while after they get put out. We still have people who freak if they smell smoke around here. Hang in there winters coming. Mark H.

it will take winter to get these out now , it,s like sitting on a time bomb , never knowing when it will go off but pretty sure it,s gonna.

Be Phlatt, what part of NC are you in. I live in foothills of western NC. Like you, we got plenty of rain, but remember last several years, when we had none. Was terrible. Know what these folks are going thru.
