Let's stick to harmonious country topics. We will never agree on topics such as politics, gun control, religion, etc. Your arguing scares away new people and others who come here for some friendly Kountry Life discussions.

I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes or take away your freedom of discussion. But this forum is meant to be a fun, informative and friendly place and those types of conversations lead to arguments 95% of the time.

The good news is that there are MANY discussion forums on the internet, and there are also MANY places on the intenet where a group of people can start their own forum (free). Let's try to maintain a down-home Kountry feel here.

Thanks,
Kim

I apologize for my part below and am trying very hard to stay out of the "stuff" above. Thanks for a very enjoyable site. I grew up on a farm but now live and work in the city. This site helps keep me sane. Thanks.

Actually I broke one of my own rules, and I won't print it here. This was a lose, lose situation and I should have done my usual good deed, and stayed out of it.
HOWEVER, I ain't retracting the reply to LH, cause that was only a lawyer joke, and I already apologized to Screaming Hollow for that one.(grin)

Sorry Kim...I'll be the first in line to get the skillet....as a Vet its awful hard to tolerate the idea of giving up any of the freedoms which we have in this country....we have graveyards full of good men who I assume would agree with me.Again....sorry. Clipper

I apologize if I added any to your 'worry factor'...

I saw the discussion as the same thing that happens at family gatherings here when I try and reason with my 'city-mouse' sister...

Spose I could just bang my head on the puter and it would be more productive...

;-)

Hit that on the Nail. I have the same problem with my Father In Law!! I have made a little head way over the last 20 years or maybe he is getting tired, not sure. Mark H.
