Any of ya'll ever drink that Community Coffee Dark Roast down in Louisiana? We lived there for nearly 10 yrs then moved back up here. It took us yrs to get used to "normal" coffee again. That stuff is STOUT.

Ron do you mean like ''Chichory'' coffee?

Red Dave - Yep!    Posted 08-20-2003 at 12:50:35       [Reply]  [No Email]
My favorite is "Between Roast". Darker than regular roast, but not quite as dark as the real dark stuff. Discovered it on a visit to Nawlin's. Still order it once and a while as a treat.

Every once in a while I treat myself to one of those special blends!! Problem is they taste so good I could get hooked fast. I drink whats on sale and never drink more than 2 pots a day. PS I have a cup just when I lie down at night it makes me sleep better? Strange! Mark H.

8 cup size pots but some times I have only 3-4 cups a day. Mark H.

Never been farther south than Madison, WI. That rules out Louisiana.
My favorite is whatever mom and dad are serving! I go over almost every morning. 'Course we only live a 1/2 mile apart and farm together. I sure do love country living.

Born and raised on it and still drink it....maybe its the thing that makes us Cajuns so.....Crazy??? :^) Clipper
