I feel a great deal of empathy for those who think that society needs to constantly have the pot stirred to be of interest to anyone. I find nothing more satisfying then sitting out on the front stoop after my kids are in bed in the Fall wrapped up in a warm blanket with a nice cuppa and watching the stars or in the winter in basically the same position in my doorway watching a great Nor'easter come to terms with the air. I don't need to know the fast life having lived it all in my youth. Give me my filled canning jars lined in a row and my cats purring on my lap while my children sleep in peace..there lies my satisfaction..To all of you who give us the produce in our stores and the milk in our fridge and the bread we break..thanx so much and God bless.

If you are not a socialist at 20, then you have no heart...If you are not a capitalist by 30, then you have no brain...

Well said, Aprille!!!!! The townies will never figure us out. But, then again, I will never figure them out either.

Peace, tanquilty, family, friends and a full pantry are true blessings. And while heated discussions and debates can tend to get out of hand, let us be thankful we live in a country where one can express our opinions.

Hello Aprille,
Very well stated. To be tranqulle and content
is an important factor in our lives.

We do not need nor is it good for us to have the
strife, and qubbling in our lives. Discussions
are a good thing however, let us not forget the
blessing we have each day. and keep everything
in a perspective..

Nice to meet you...
