just heard a good one on the supper news. because of all the fires in B.C. and all the trees that got burned the price of lumber is going up immediately, and in some cases as much as double, seems like more price gougeing again.

yup i suppose, but i always thought they could still harvest them logs and mill them if they were able to do it within two years, and besides alot of it would go to waste and they use that for co- gernation now and sell the power to the states and in most cases get more for the power than they would for the lumber.when i worked in the bush quite a few years ago we used to harvest it, i think magpie logs up here , if he,s around he would know im sure.just seems like another way to pick our pockets, but your right they all do it anyway.
