Rocky is gone gone GONE! My neighbor wants to split the beef with us and will pay half the cost natch, so we just gave them the meat, they've been good to us, so they're getting some good fresh meat for packaging price only and we get to sleep nights. Wee-hah! I'll let ya'll know how he tastes in a few weeks. Thanks for all the support and suggestions.

Good solution, sounds like he was more trouble than he was worth.
Next time, I wouldn't name an animal that I might end up eating.

We may or may not ever own any more cows. If we do, we will only keep them for six or eight months. Period.

YeHaw and good riddance! Congratulations! (It feels wierd saying I am glad an animal named Rocky is to die. I have a cat named Rocky.) Anyway, it will be a thorn out of your side, and lord knows you need to thin out a few of those thorns around there! Good for you! :)
