this is for all of you who own an antique tractor and live close enough to attend the founders day parade in mcgregor tx. lots of fun, arts, crafts, and food. street dance that nite. sept. 20th trying to get people to bring their tractors for the parade. the parade starts at 10 am at the football field. if interested, call mynette or bonnie at 254-840-2091 mon. thru friday 9 to 5. hope to see some of you there. thank you

Thanks for the invite, Mike! Where you are is not exactly a hop, skip and a jump from me, as I'm way down here near Houston. Anyway, we've got the Kenefick Kaper going on that same day, Sept. 20. It's an all day fundraising for the volunteer fire department. I'm in charge of the kids beauty pageant and am about to pull my hair out with organizing that, let me tall ya! We'll have bar-b-q all day, silent and chinese auctions, craft booths, a dance that night with a live band, raffle and live auctions. Loooong day, but FUN!

hey maggie!! thanks for the reply. my wife and i live in conroe. i dont know where you are exactly but mcgregor is where i grew up and my mom still lives there. cant really decide between mcgregor or the washington county fair in brennan.anyway, hope all goes well for you and yours. mike and sissy rushing

Hey Mike! Conroe is not far from us at all, then. Kenefick is a small incorporated town next to Dayton, which is just south of Cleveland. We live just off Hwy 321, due east of the prisons as the crow flies. :)
