Temp was in the high 40s. Kind of cool compared to those living down south!

Go ahead and crow right now, I will post in Jan. and Feb. when you are freezing and fighting the snow and ice and it is a balmy 75 here in Sunny South Florida!!!

I may complain about it, but I don't 'fight' the weather...I flow with it...

And if Mother Nature were not trying to kill me 4 months of the year, I would not appreciate the other 4 seasons...

And loving it...

It will be in the low 80's by afternoon and I can take the doors off my CJ for my evening drive...

I love this time of year...

I hope you don't try to take that thing out on Route 7. Last time I looked, it was almost full.

I don't...    Posted 08-29-2003 at 05:11:45       [Reply]  [No Email]
And the 'stay' has been overturned, so the construction has started...Won't be in full swing till Spring, but it is already causing delays...They are making 4-lanes all the way from Burlington to the Museum as I understand it...

I hate that road...

I was driving around last night on the other side of town, and thought of you...Wanted a chance to show you a few of the reasons I stay...The parts of town you got to see are NOT prime examples of the beauty of Charlotte...There is an amazing amount of open land still, three covered bridges, and some of the most beautiful vistas in the county...And I swear the best way to 'sight-see' is in an old Jeep with no doors on it...

Let me know next time you are coming and I will chauffer you around for an hour or two...

Salmoneye, who despite his whining about 'change' is very proud of his hometown...

No crow as I laugh when viewing the weather channel from down south in winter. We take off for a month or so every winter or somethimes like we went to Shreveport winter of 2001. Last year was just a month in FL.

This year, not sure of rest of family, but I will be in Nashville this winter.

Ya gotta stay in that Opreyland hotel, it's quite a place. At least walk through it.
