Broody hens

can anybody tell me what to do with a broody hen approx 18months old - sometimes she sits on no eggs, do not particularly want her to produce chicks at this time-very agressive with me and other hens-also attacking other hens eggs if they lay.

You can try putting her in a cage w/ food & water for about 3-4 days and after that put her back w/ the flock. Sometimes that breaks the broody urge.

She sounds just right for the stew pot.
