About my baby's hair

Ron, she's thirteen. She's my last child, therefore my baby. Very tough age.

Sarah....I have no idea what to say to you. You clearly have me subsectioned, cut and pasted into a category, so think what you like. And guess what, you can address me directly.

Randy, you have got to be one of the sweetest men God blew breath into.

Kelly I did tell her that. She still hates me but I can look at her and not seethe inside anymore so our realtionship has to improve.

Maggie it wasn't quite long enough for that, we only cut off about four inches, and according to her that was too much and she still has a head full of hair!

Salmoneye, I like you too. I was thinking about you today in fact, that little way you have of saying 'what did I win?'. One day I hope to be able to award you with something. (grin)

In my experience, 13 seems to be the worst year for girls...14 is almost as bad and by 15 they are starting to be humans again. I raised 3 girls and all 3 had a tough time during those early teen years. It got better, we made it through it and I am very close to all my children now. But I think that boys are easier to deal with than girls during those years. I could almost read the 2 boy's minds, but haven't a clue what the girls were thinking.

My youngest, a daughter, will always be my matter how old she gets, and she will be 21 in a couple of months. She is off to college in Seattle, but we talk almost every day and she actually values my opinions. I could not be prouder of her.

This too, will pass. Good luck with your daughter. LOVE HER!

I have a 28 year old "baby girl", thats the only reason I asked. My Father finally quit trying to tell me when to get a haircut around the time I turned 50.

When I first came to this forum, I just used the name "Donna" when I posted. Some kind soul advised me it might be wise to use some method of distinguishing myself from other Donnas, and that's how I became Donna from Mo.

Good thing there ain't too many of us Lesters left. That name kinda fell out of favor long ago. It certainly never made the top ten on the Family Fued survey.

Well there.....    Posted 09-09-2003 at 14:25:28       [Reply]  [No Email]

You're a sweetie, Clipper. Now if you just train those roosters to sweet-talk the ladies like that, they'll get along well in life.

No problem, there could easily be two Sarah's and you clearly were not the one. I just get a little testy when people think they know all about me based on two postings. For some reason I never even dream of judging anybody ever but a lot of people do. I may say I diagree with someone or I may say I would do something differently but that......'is this the same woman' crap really sets my teeth on edge. And then to write about me like I can't read it. Talk to me dammit. Don't talk around me. Makes me think of the mean kids in high school who used to whisper behind their hands. Very rude. I noticed that she signed in using a lower case s and you use an upper case S, so that is the distinction I can look for. You have a great day too.

Hello Cindi,
Thanks so much for the kind words and understanding! I really appreciate it! If there is another name you think I should go by, please feel free to suggest it to me! I do not like it when people judge me either. Especially some one that has never met me before, etc. and all they are going by is a letter. Again THanks very much for being so nice to me! Hope you have a Great Nite and a Great rest of the week!, Wow this has been a long day and it isn't over yet!:) So I guess I better go, have to take care of my babies(animals):), Talk Later,Sarah from NC ;)

Sarah, what part of NC are you from ? My wife and I live in the western NC foothills.

Cindi    Posted 09-09-2003 at 17:49:21       [Reply]  [No Email]
Sweetie you don't need anything to seperate you out from others, your lovely nature sets you apart. Like I said I don't judge people, but if I did, you certainly would not be in my crosshairs.

Sarah    Posted 09-09-2003 at 19:26:26       [Reply]  [Send Email]
Ok Thanks so very much for the nice compliments! I greatly appreciate them. I just try and treat others as I want them to treat me, and that is nice and not mean or judgeful! If you know what I mean? Thanks again,Sarah
