15 hp koehler gas leaking from solenoid.

How do you pull off the solenoid on the bottom of the float bowl. It leaks gas at the bottom of the solenoid.

Afraid it may be"one with the bowl".Don't know if they're "removeable" or part of bowl assembly.I have heard they are pricey but may just need tightening/gooping.A gas shut off valve in the line would limit loss when not in use(appx$4).

OK,did a little searching around the web,and it appears the solenoid itself in most Kohler applications is held in place by 1 OR 2 small screws.Once this is off,there is an O-ringed,"plunger" behind it inserted into the carb.

I removed the solenoid and put in a bolt(plug) and it works just fine.
