Hello Everyone,
If anyone on here can help me with some llama questions, PLEASE let me know.
I have a llama that has had loose bowels for 2 1/2 wks. Does anybody know what might cause this?
She also looks like she has lost weight. Does anyone think she might be pregnant and this could be some of the symptoms? She looks like she isn't the young pudgie llama and that she hangs more than sticking out to the sides as much! She is 7months old! Thanks so much for anybody's help! Also is it ok to give her kaopectate? If so how much? If you would like to email me you can! Thanks,Sarah and Liberty (llama in need:))

I have a friend that has some. I will ask and get back.
Has her diet changed?
Stress?
Has she been running with the boys?
How long have you had her?

Hello,
I did try to switch her food, but she didn't want it. She did eat a little bit of it, but not much. I put her back to Mazuri and she has been eating that off and on, somedays she eats more than others. She just started eating around the first of August.
The only stress she might have had is heat. This started when it got so hot here. It was actually the hottest it had been all summer. Not only was the temp high but the humidity was high as well. I thought it was the heat, but it has continued for 2 1/2 wks. now. So I dont know.
She was with a boy when she was about 4 months, and he was messing around with her some. That is another reason I was wondering if maybe he had bred with her and this is something her body is changing, etc. I dont know. I have had her for a good lil while! Well if you find anything out please let me know. Thanks,Sarah and Liberty(llama)
