Are the trees turning up there? Down here the ashes are dropping leaves and even some maples are doing the same. A tree guy told me that was because of the wet year and the maples have a fungus. Maybe it will be a bad year for the leaf peekers. Naw, they'll still come and screw up traffic. You 2 have a good day, pouring down here.

Drove Rt 2 from Danville VT through New Hampshire and Maine on the way to Acadia last week. The closer we got to the coast the more the trees had turned. Still pretty green up here on the Canadian border.

A few trees started turning color here in Northern lower MI. We have not had frost during the night yet. Usually in the lower 50s here.

There's a few of them turning. Mostly the soft maples. Just one here and there. Long way to go yet.
Contrary to what Salmoneye said, I believe the trees had a good year this year. Certainly much better than last year when they were stressed from no rain.
When I was up north last week, a lot more of them were turning, which is to be expected.

Ayuh...Some are turning, some are turned, adn some are dropping...

I do believe that the wet early summer and the relative lack of rain in the last month have messed up lots of trees this year...
