Hi all, stumbled in here looking for Planet Jr information. I'm wondering what value of a Planet Jr 4 row tagalong all steel corn planter would be. Saw it last year but now have learned it may be for sale. Is it possible to sow other crops with it? Thanks Joel

I've got a Planet Jr wheel hoe (some folks call 'em a push plow) that I've used for a few years for my big garden. High quality, well made stuff.

I know that when Planet Jr. went out of business, I believe in the late '40s, parts of their production was bought out by and continued by a couple of other companies. Cole continued to produce some Planet Jr. planters all the way until early this year. Their reputation was still good, although the equipment was very very pricey, which is why I think sales went down and they pulled the plug perhaps 6 months back. I suspect you could still get parts thru Cole...look for them on the web.

good luck,
Tom
