Took the wife outside to have a look see at the night sky. In our lifetime I can't ever recall not being able to see some aircraft flying at night, even here in the quiet midwest.
Tonight is totally different from anything most of us have ever seen. The only lights flashing in the sky are the still silhouettes reflecting from the sattelites.
But I also observe a glimmer of hope as the stars are shining brighter than I have seen. Which indicates to me that God is still with us, and through our faith in him all of this tragedy can be overcome, and our nation will shine brighter than ever just like the wonderful stars.

For the first time I can remember, classes at the college were cancelled with being a holiday or a professor sick or something. I walked to the campus ready and eager to move on and get to work and learning, for was not notified of the closure. There was an eerie feeling. Yesterday, classes went on as usual, but nobody understandably did much schooling. I hope the cancellation was due to morning and not fear. I pray everyday for my American brothers and sisters and for America that we all find strength in each other. What a strange sight not seeing LAX in action and looking like a prison. Our mall down the street closed. I pray we also get back to normal and show the people responsible we are not a nation living in fear and that whoever is behind the horrible tragedy will be caught and justice served.Email your thoughts.Need to talk more.
