We went through two giant packs of juicy fruit gum last year. Tried poison peanuts too. Didn't see any results at all. Tried Scott's GrubX to kill the grubs. After two months, see no difference. I'm about ready to get a dog, if I knew what breed would work. I know they'd make a mess for awhile, but can't be any worse than what I have right now.

What kind of trap do you use? I have two different style mole traps and my success with them is very, very limited. We have greater success watching the area where one is active and shoveling him out when we see the soil heaving up.

My wife puts chewed Spearmint gum by their holes. She says that they cannot digest the gum and it will kill them. I don't know if it works, but we seem to have less moles around.

I hear garlic cloves work well.

I have a good dog I'll lend you. Of course the holes she digs to exterminate are as bad as the mole hill's she is curing.
