Speaking of which, i was doing my level best to install a simple screendoor latch today (limp hand, lazy leg and all) and my phillips on the drill was too blunt. "mack" so i looked all over for a real screwdriver, finally decided to go the 12 miles to fleet and treat myself to a new one. "mack" got it home and the dam head's too big. "mack" so i woke up suzn, asked her where my pocket stuff was from when i went to the hospital. "mack" she asked why and i told her i needed my leatherman. "mack" she looked all over, asked why don't i just go buy one and i told her i just did, it was too big, i was too tired and no, i wasn't going to make 2 trips to town for a screwdriver. then i saw my leatherman, asked where she'd found it and explained that "mack" no, leathermen aren't leather, they're just called that and that was indeed it. she had been diligently looking for some leather thing and must have sensed my impatience cuz she asked if she could help me "mack" and i said no, i'll finish that tomorrow, right now i have to go shoot a dam duck! funny how things wear you out after awhile --------- i swear if that blasted thing woulda said "Aflac" i'd have called the cops !:)

I won't be here in the AM. I am going in pursuit of food for the family. Fishing up in Kipawa. Be gone for a week. Then home for a couple of days, then off again chasing fish in Georgan bay.

As a young boy my dad took up up to Georgan Bay for a month every summer. He had a large boat.
