West Nile Virus

It looks like we have a bit of west nile virus around where Lenore, Maggie and I all live. No humans yet. thank God, just 4 birds and 1 horse. Here is the link to one of our local news sources.

Here in NH, the state just announced that they will no longer be testing suspicious dead birds. It's here, they know it, deal with it.
I haven't heard of any human cases in NH this year, only a few birds. Last year was much worse. Either that or people are realizing it isn't as big a deal as it might be and is really nothing to panic about.

An 81 year old man died here in PA. The first fatal case this year, but they are predicting it won't be the last.

i think sask.here in canada is the worst this year ,think 59 with it and 6 dead ,not good.

An 8 year old girl in the town of Limestone N.Y. aquired West Nile about a month ago. That's about 10 miles from me, even less as the (healthy) crow flies.

Here in N.W Iowa we had a big run last year and have a lot this year and also deaths in Nebr. Granddaughters pony got it last year after first shot but with med pulled thro with no ill affects. buddys horse still having problems with corrination HATE TO SEE WARM WEATHER GO BUT MAYBE END IT FOR A YEAR
