Yesterday, the South Carolina secretary of state issued a warning about some false charities that have already started calling for donations. This may be happening in other states also.

The names are official sounding, and the person will ask for money to help victims of the WTC and Washington DC disasters.

Many will want to help out, but be careful who you give your money to!

It's a shame that there are vermin out there that are willing to prey on generous people at a time like this.

GOD Bless America and may he give us Victory!

My wife already got a call from some con artist wanting us to donate to help the "Firefighters of New York". Checked with the local Fire & Rescue Department and they said that it is a scam being operated by some Iranians in Florida!

Fire Fighters of New York? FFONY? The name shoulda given 'em away.

This time I plan on sticking with the usual charities, The Red Cross and Salvation Army.
