Can any one help me? I am looking at 1996 Harman Invincible RS pellet stove which new sells for about 2200. It appears in good shape and has not been used in a few years the motors all seem to run. what should I pay for this??

Harman is a good name. I have one. They are bottom fed, and I find it to be more efficient than the drop pellet style. I'm not sure of the particular model you have. It is 5 years old, and Harman is offering newer styles. Even my 3 year old unit is "Old." I wouldn't exceed $1000, hopefully less.
Ask yourself why is this person selling an old unit. Is it a dealer selling a model that was turned in, or a private sale. It could be it worked fine, someone just wants a newer model. If properly cleaned there is no reason for a new unit, unless the stove that perosn bought was too small for the heating area.
As I said, Harman is a good name, and you won't go wrong. But ask some questions about the unit in question. Good luck.
