Got my new truck tonight. A 2003 Chevy Duramax 4X4 with a plow. The people where I'm the caretaker wrote the check. Just got to work it off. Great to be me!
Still miss the 1984 Toyota though.

I asked to borrow $10,000 for a used truck. She said " Not one more -------- dime for a used truck. We have aided and abetted you in the used truck thing before. Go get a new one and we'll pay for it and you can work it off."
So, I owe them $5,000 worth of work for 8 years. Thankfully it's a leftover and got about $10,000 off! Great people. Bob hates if we borrow his shovel but doesn't mind giving me $40,000.
