Hurricane Isabel tore up my windmill!

We own an 18th century farm house in Virginia and have been restoring it for the last 4 years...bit by bit.

One of the most charming things on the property is the old Aermotor windmill. Even though it is no longer used to pump the well, we have enjoyed just watching it spin and have considered having it restored...maybe even to pumping condition.

Then came Isabel and bent and twisted it all to pieces. Half of the fins are bent at right angels, several fins broke off completely, and the tail is mangled.

I've found a source for Aermotor parts online, but who in the world works on windmills? Does anybody know anybody in VA that does? Or should I just be looking for somebody mechanically inclined and not afraid of heights...windmill specific experience not needed?

Any help would be apprecicated!
