Did you ever get you old Sattley Hit and Miss engine running? Last I heard you were still playing with the governor on it. I've got a decent camera now if you could use some pictures...

i just wished i had rhouston's money in my bank! yeah, i was (and still am) working on a sattley. what i have is painted and mounted on a small wagon gear with ice cream freezers. now as them, i'm looking for parts or good pictures so i might make parts. so yes, i would very much like to see some good pictures of the governor rod, governor setting wedge, mag holder and details on the valve rod and trip gear. (i know, it sounds as if i don't have much of an engine to work with.)

every year i go to a local engine show hoping to see a sattley, but no luck so far. every year the engines go up in cost. all just out of reach of what i think i can afford to pay for a toy. Thank you very much for the offer.

My mistake on the names...I just remembered Rh??? something. But I knew I was close!

Rhudson, sounds like you need to eyeball a real one up close to see what you need. If you're anywhere close to Wyo, I can sure work you into my schedule! You might try this link and see if Mr. Czerwick can help out. Seems like he's real knowledgable with the Nelson Bros Sattley's.

Where did you get an ice-cream machine for it? That's what I've been looking for fer the last two years! Good luck with your quest and let me know if I can help...Baggsy
