Hello Everyone! I've been having a great time reading all the articles and posts. I feel like I belong. May I join? I live on a little patch of land, W/ hubby and critters, about 400 yards from a river. Definately farm country too. I hope to make friends and share ideas about anything and everything. I love to sew,cook,quilt,x-stitch and I plant a garden, make compost, make my own soap, all kinds of stuff. Hope to be a good neighbor and hope to hear from a lot of new friends.

Hello Rusty and welcome! Come on up on the front porch and pull up a chair and set a spell any old time you like! Just remember to have your TALL rubber boots handy, as it can get deep here in a heartbeat. LOL!

Now that quilting is something I've been wanting to try for a while now and just never got around to it yet, but I will, God willing and the creek don't rise. I've got 5 quilt tops that my paternal grandmother made that I want to put together with the quilting and a backing and finish out someday, as the tops are beautiful. I am kind of waiting til all the kids are REALLY gone. (Our son keeps bouncing back, so far.) I think I'll need more space and more uh...peace of mind to do it right.
You come on back anytime now, ya hear? :)

It's very quiet in here today so give it a bit of time and you will get a plenty good welcome! I love to cross stitch but my eyes are getting so bad. I have a half a family heirloom quilt made using a cross stitch square about eight inches square for each member of the family for three generations.I am so mad that I can't see well enough to work on it right now.

I hope to see 'rusty bones' around a lot. Sounds like you will fit in great! Welcome!

Well, I don't know, Cindi. She spells almost as good as you do.
