sxpecting winds of 40 mph with gusts at 55mph will probably lose more trees. started the generator, tied down tarps on wood piles and moved vehicles away from trees i hope i got everything set. later bob w

That is allmost normal weather around here. We get so much wind that 35-40 MPH one are not even givin a second thought except to say boy it is windy out today. Any thing that could blow over has done it allready and our trees are deeply rooted. Most of the big ones look wind swept on the tops. Where I used to live we would have black outs and up/rooted trees because of all the rain the trees had shallow root systems, with winds like your getting. Mark H.

Got 2" of rain last night and this morning, wind gusts hit 50 MPH so far no damage. The wind has been from the west, and south west. It's starting to calm down around here, so I guess you can have it next.
Good luck.
