And whatever happened to the writing forum?

The property dispute......we called out a sheriff to document what was going on and a few days later I ran into a man down the road who is related to the the woman who is handling the property. I told him that if they wanted to claim the easement as their own, that was fine, they can maintain it. They have no tractor or bush hog. We haven't mowed that side of the road and the weeds are about chin high now. Plus we haven't bladed the road. The ruts are about three feet deep. Easy enough for us to drive through in our trucks but not so easy for them in their little cars. You reap what you sow. If they want the ruts fixed they can hire someone to fix them. If and when we decide to put the sign back up we'll maintain the road again. Maybe they'll get the idea.

The writing forum....I'm not sure...I went there one day and it said 'closed to do some kind of critical error'. I think we might have been using up too much space? It wouldn't even recognize my password. Since most everybody was coming there under assumed names I didn't know who to notify.

Cindi, You go girl. Fueds can be fun specailly when you know who has the upper hand. In the near future when the weather gets bad and the road is worse you may want to post a sign that says one of many of the old sayings my Moms Dad used to say. "NEVER START A PISSING CONTEST WITH A SKUNK!" He made it sound like he learned first hand. Another of his helpful hints my brother just loved was "NEVER PICK ANYTHING UP WITH A WOODEN HANDEL IN IT....IT JUST LEADS TO WORK!"

Thanks for the update.
I kept waiting for how it had turned out.
I see it has NOT been resolved.
Maybe when your new piggies are ready for the FFA kids,
a new chapter will be forthcoming.
Hard headed neighbors can be such a pain....
