The Kansas City Chiefs drivel report won't happen till after the game starts, at 7:30 tonight. And I will be in bed shortly after it starts, dreaming of their continued victory. I won't miss anything, since I never watch a game... I just usually peek in the living room and holler, "What's the score?" I would hate to see them end this winning streak they're on, though.

What a blessed day this has been. I have no intrest in the series, the Marlins, or baseball in general. I do however have a personal intrest in "America's team" the beloved YANKEE'S!
Finally the elitist, self centered, bunch of thugs in pinstripes have gotten some of the hard luck they so richly deserve.
Listening to Lord Steinbrenner, and his merry men in local interviews just make me sooooo happy to see them lose.
I personally could cheer for Mike Mucina, a nearby local boy, but after donning the stipes, well he might as well be a child molester, they and yankee's are on the same par in my book.
Then again, my vote don't much count, as I haven't watched a baseball game in years.

You're a man after my own heart when it comes to the Yankees, Ron. I learned at my mother's knee to hate the Yankees (and she grew up in Schenectady, NY) and I've seen no reason to stop. It does me good to see a team, any team, with about a quarter of their payroll beat them soundly.

The sports that were of interest to me was when our kids played. The bad officiating ruined that.I have no interest what so ever in watching overpaid folks do what they do in sports.About as interesting as watching the dough rise.    Posted 10-26-2003 at 15:28:45       [Reply]  [No Email]
;-) It is down in the "hooded sweatshirt" thread.
Charles (Mo) slipped it in without the necessary warning!!
I almost fainted when I saw that.
The patriots were one of my picks that i got right. I also picked
Tennessee (won)
Minnesota (lost)
New England (won)
New Orleans (lost)
St. Louis (won)
Dallas (lost) :-(

I am watching my Texans, and our QB got hurt and is out; Banks is QB now.
It is not looking so good now 14-24.

Ron/Pa I enjoy a real in person baseball game but baseball on TV has got to be the most boring thing on there besides the info mercials.

Sorry to give you a scare Lenore. I just had to slip that one in.
Rams won today at Pittsburg!
