Back in '92, we visited my wife's cousin in Mini Soda. One thing that he was raising in his greenhouse was scented geraniums. We brought home a rose scented one and we still have it. Just brought it in for the winter. They sure smell nice.

A couple of years ago I bought some scented geranium seeds. The leaves were beautiful, deep green in color and big fern-like in shape, the flower was pink.
I took it with me when I moved back to the city, it didn't last long, it was too warm for this geranium to survive.
Somebody told me once that their leaves are great for culinary uses, although I never used them.
Now I'm back on the mountains and maybe I should give it another try. Geraniums are one of my favorite plants. There are some varieties that we grow succesfuly here in PR.

Never seen a blossom on these. We've propagated a bunch of them (easy to do) and given them away.

I don't know if they really have all those different flavors but I was told by this lady that the one I had, Ginger Scented Geranium, was used in some dishes for flavor.
Like I said, never used it for culinary purposes, and the heat killed it before I could find out.

I finally found today a picture of the plant at the following website:
