We findly got our first snow! Won't last long but there is white stuff in the air. I guess it is winter now. Mark H.

The weather forecast is for it to get real cold too, over the next few days. Wasn't that quite the wind yesterday? It stayed warm though. I was out mixing and pouring concrete for a porch foundation I am building and was out all day. I wanted to get the concrete done before it gets cold. Got too tired to even start up the computer last night....

I saw a bunch of snowflakes coming down today in Spokane, but they melted as they hit the ground. My place is about 500' higher than Spokane, so I was worried about the snow sticking there. But when we got home tonite, there was no snow.

Hope the cold blast doesn't bother you too much. I think I'm ready.

I am as ready as I can be? I would have to put away my 2 pumps pick up a couple of hoses and that is about it. Just that there still is a lot of stuff to burn so I was waiting for the last moment to put them up for the winter. In town they had lots of trees down and power was alot along with a few builings damaged and roofs blown off. Our trees where I live are wind blown ones so the do not go over in high winds only dead ones fall. Mark H.

Had a half inch or so here last week. Had to mow the snow off to get to the leaf clean ups! Supposed to be nice now for the next week. Need to clean out all the gutters at my jobs this week. Nothing worse than chipping the leaves out of them.

We had a dusting last weekend, but we're back to shorts and tank tops again this week. Cold nights, hot days.

Ditto in New Hamsha. Snow and colder than a well digger's behind last week ('20's overnight), now it will be pushing 60 this weekend.
